The 8-week, 25 workout training program has been expertly designed by Julia Jones and Shauna Reid of Up and Running e-courses. It combines engaging storytelling with valuable training techniques, making the experience not only beneficial but also incredibly thrilling.

In Zombies, Run! 5k Training, you become Runner 5, an essential member of one of the last human outposts at Abel Township. Throughout the 25 workouts, you'll undergo training to help find supplies and protect the town from the relentless horde of zombies. The story, written by award-winning novelist Naomi Alderman, provides insight into the characters, and you'll have a vital mission of your own to complete. Once your training is finished, you'll be in the perfect position to continue the storyline as the hero in Zombies, Run!

This app is perfect for beginners as it provides clear and detailed instructions for workouts, offers a gentle learning curve, and importantly, ensures that the zombies do not chase you until you're ready.

By subscribing to the Abel Runner's Club, you can unlock all workouts for unlimited play!

Prior to beginning your run, you have the option to choose your own soundtrack. The story unfolds through a series of dynamic radio messages and voice recordings that play alongside your chosen tracks from providers such as Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, and Google Play Music.

The ability to view split-time graphs and stats for both your running and game progress is available in this app.

Additionally, you can check your running stats and view and share your maps through the ZombieLink website, which features an intuitive and visually appealing interface.

Your workouts will sync with Apple Health and your Activity Rings. If desired, your weight can also be utilized to calculate calorie burn more accurately.

If you've already played Zombies, Run!, Zombies, Run! 5k Training offers an opportunity to experience 24 brand new missions that take place between Mission 1 and Mission 2 of Season 1. Through these missions, you'll learn how Runner 5 initially trained with characters such as Sam, Doctor Myers, and the rest of Abel Township.

Regarding pricing, subscriptions are available at $5.99 USD/month or $34.99 USD/year. Subscriptions will be charged to your iTunes account upon confirmation of purchase.
